"Inspirational" could be used to sum up youth weekend at Lehigh. Pastor Andre Campbell in his usual form of preaching sermons straight from his heart, without any form of shyness, created a relatable message for the young adults, and the older ones. He regaled about his exploits from his youth to portray how far God has taken him.
The day started with a baptism that lifted us to a spiritual realm that only a connection with God can do. Four souls decided to make Jesus Christ their "one and only,” and denounce sin, by entering the watery grave. Next the Lehigh Youth choir delivered messages in song so powerful, that it brought tears to even the speaker's eyes.
The Holy Spirit was there in a special way as evidenced by the number of people who came up on the appeal.
EQ was the headliner at a special concert for the youth, filled with talent from far and wide, even the church of God had their young people performing and praising God. The concert also helped to commemorate the final day of the Parade of Talents. Over $120,000 was raised by the members at Lehigh.
God is still working here; we were blessed.
